Unfair Commercial Practices Directive, link

Following the amendment to Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Customer Protection, which brought the Act even closer to the wording and, even more so, to the meaning and the purpose of Directive 2005/29/EC, there are voices calling to deem the breach of both public law and private law provisions with a direct impact on the competition as unfair competition. There is therefore a possible conclusion: should there be changes of legal regulation in the future that would bring more laws to the field of competition law through the General Clause? This would essentially affect the regulation of unfair competition itself. The article focuses on possible explanations of this phenomenon and tries to find answers whether or not this approach could prevail.
