This thesis refers to the law of sale, further to the Directive 1999/44/EC. In particular, there is a thorough analysis on the legal nature and the conditions of liability of the seller, on the rights of the buyer and the claims for repair and replacement, on the right of withdrawal or reduction of price, on the claim to compensate and on the right’s limitation period.
