The author refers to, among other things, the new law of sale that implemented the Directive 1999/44/EC. More specifically it refers to the issue of compliance to the terms of the sale contract, to the seller’s liability due to non-conformity to the contract, the rights of the consumer-buyer as well as the limitation period applicable to the above liability. In addition the author refers to the amendments that the new law of sale that implemented the above directive has conferred to the previous legal provisions.
