    According to the author the law of sale in the Civil Code does not settle what is the the relationship between contractual and pre-contractual liability of the seller in case the good that is sold does not correspond to the contract due to a pre-contractual fault. Hence this issue is subject to interpretation and to further examination by the legal theory..So, the aim of this study is to examine the relationship between these two liability systems (contractual and pre-contractual). In addition, issues regarding the limitation period of each liability are also examined. The author concludes that each liability bears its own limitation deadlines.
