After an introductory chapter on the origin of Law 29/2009 amending the existing Unfair Competition and Advertising regulations in order to improve the rights of consumers and users and on the general amendments entered into under the Spanish unfair competition legal regime, the book focuses on the main changes introduced by said Law in the Unfair Competition Law (Law 3/1991 of 10 January).

The book deals with the new general provision on the repression of unfair competition practices and the new legal regime of misleading acts and omissions. Further, it generally notices the inclusion of a new category of aggressive practices and notes illicit advertising as a new category of unfair competition practice. Finally, the reformation of the legal actions regime to fight unfair competition practices is dealt with.
