    This article contains a comparative analysis of the legal grounds for consumer and business protection against surreptitious advertising, pursuant to the Prevention of the Unfair Commercial Practices Act and the Counteracting Unfair Competition Act. The authors discuss the existing definitions of surreptitious advertising and the problems to designate the content of this term (as arising in legal practice and described in legal doctrine). They also describe the means provided to consumers by the Prevention of the Unfair Commercial Practices Act  to counteract surreptitious advertising.
