  • Headnote
This article discusses the fact that the definition of "consumer" in the Greek general consumer protection law is different from the definition of "consumer" set in the European Community relevant legal regime (that also includes the UCP Directive).

The Greek definition encompasses not only natural persons, but also legal persons that act outside of their normal course of trade (conversely, the European Community standard definition refers only to natural persons).
