In general, this book deals with the means of individual and collective (class) protection of consumers against the lack of substantive negotiation of contract terms.

It deals with the interpretation of articles 2 and 10 of the law no 2251/1994 after the adoption of law no. 3587/2007 (which implements the UCP Directive into the Greek legal system). In particular, it discusses the issue of class actions filed by consumer associations. 

It analyses the changes introduced to the previous legal regime due to the adoption of law no. 3587/2007, with specific reference to the fact that the legal consequences of a judgment shall apply to all persons, even if they are not parties to the action (erga omnes). It also discusses the new definition of "consumer" after the adoption of law no. 3587/2007.
