Article 10 - Information on competent courts or authorities

Competent court

A settlement referred to in this Chapter may be made enforceable in the District Court in the jurisdiction of which a party to the settlement is domiciled or permanently resident. If none of the parties are domiciled or permanently resident in Finland, the Helsinki District Court shall be the competent court. Information about the competent district courts is available electronically at http://www.oikeus.fi/tuomioistuimet/en/index/yhteystiedot.html, a website maintained by the Ministry of Justice.
