The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia is the competent authority for the whole of the Republic of Croatia.
Applications are accepted by mail in the Republic of Croatia.
If a party domiciled or resident in a Member State of the European Union seeks legal aid in a cross-border dispute before a court in the Republic of Croatia, the relevant forms and documents must be submitted translated into Croatian. If a party domiciled or resident in the Republic of Croatia seeks legal aid in a cross-border dispute before a court in another Member State of the European Union, the application form and accompanying documents will be translated by the Ministry of Justice into the official language or one of the official languages of the relevant Member State of the European Union and of the competent receiving authority.
The national language version of this page is maintained by the respective Member State. The translations have been done by the European Commission service. Possible changes introduced in the original by the competent national authority may not be yet reflected in the translations.
