Article 71 1. (a) - Courts for application for a declaration of enforceability and courts for appeal against decisions on such applications

The courts with competence for examining applications for a declaration of enforceability pursuant to Article 27(1) are the Family Courts of Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca/Famagusta and Paphos.

In our judicial system there is no court of third instance: there is no way to contest a decision given on appeal.

Article 71 1. (c) - Review procedure

A review of the kind provided for in this Article can be sought by way of an application to set aside the decision (aítisi paramerismoú tis apófasis) pursuant to provision 48, rule 9(h) and (n) of the Rules of Civil Procedure (Thesmoí Politikís Dikonomías). The application is lodged with the Family Court which issued the decision to be set aside.
